This Quarterly Sustainability Report gives an update of our university’s efforts to promote sustainability. It highlights our key initiatives and shares what we've being doing this past quarter. It also shares what each of us can do to help.

Sustainability Plan

Recycling

The recycling center accepts the following materials:
  • HI-5 plastic bottles
  • Aluminum cans
The following items are sent to the H-Power station where it is incinerated and converted into electricity.
  • Cardboard
  • Paper
  • Other plastics
Recycling containers are located throughout campus and the Hales and TVA. Please DO NOT place garbage (i.e. food waste, diapers, clothing, styrofoam) in the recycling containers.
